Comment from a district supervisor following a "Bringing Florida Wildlife into the Classroom" Professional Development Workshop at a recent Staff Development Conference: "If all presenters had the leadership skills you have, our jobs would be much easier. The creativity in how you presented was only surpassed by your knowledge of subject matter, your depth of understanding, and the rapport you had with the other teachers....Your expertise has to be one of the reasons for the rave reviews. ...the real winners are the elementary students in our district!"  - Florida District Science Elementary Curriculum Supervisor.

About the Florida WildLife Book Series ~  The three books in this Life Science series, which correlate with both Sunshine State Standards and FCAT curriculum requirements, are a superb resource for elementary and special education students, and their teachers. They are a natural blend of life science and social studies curriculums which encourage respect for Florida's beautiful yet fragile animal kingdom.

Florida WildLife "Discover Amazing Animal Wonders" is our upper-elementary level soft-cover workbook which  features original and detailed illustrations of 20 animals indigenous to Florida. Your students will discover many amazing and little-known facts about each animal. They will learn ways they can help protect, preserve, and restore Florida's fragile environment - all in a fun and engaging format! Students will be inspired to create their own wildlife masterpiece featuring an animal of their own choice on the special activity page provided within the book.

Also included are eight challenging activities (we call them "Brain Games") that encourage students to use critical thinking skills to solve various challenges, such as: cause and effect, math computations, compare and contrast, sorting, and more. State symbols, interesting statistics about our state, and the definition of status designations as recognized by the Endangered Species Act and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are included.

Florida WildLife "In Your Own Backyard" is our primary-elementary level soft-cover workbook which features 57 original and detailed illustrations of animals, insects, and plants indigenous to Florida, along with 22 fun and challenging activities, games, and crafts.

Florida WildLife "Brain Games" is a book for teachers filled with hands-on activities and lesson ideas to teach your students about Florida's environment and its wildlife. From easy, primary-level activities to advanced upper-level projects, students will be challenged to explore, research, discover, and analyze the world around them.
