I'm looking for a sign unmistakably from you, a reason to believe You're real... a sign to prove it's true. You see, I'm plagued with doubts, Lord... Some people say I'm wrong to think that You exist at all... Their argument seems strong. I'm asking You to show me a sign to help me see that You are really out there and watching over me. You answered with a whisper, "The signs are in your past. I've always been here with you ...the evidence is vast. Remember when you prayed, 'Lord, what work is best for me? Please show me what You've planned...what my career should be.' I gave you gifts and talents; I opened every door. Success was what you wanted but I gave so much more! Remember when you prayed, 'Lord, please lead me to the one that You have chosen for me. My Lord, Thy will be done. Send someone who is faithful and good in every way, who'll be the perfect one for me, who'll love me, Lord, I pray.' Soon after, unexpectedly, or was it "just by chance"...you met the one you'd marry, your heart filled with romance. Remember when you prayed, 'Lord, we ask You for a child.' The doctors said, 'I'm sorry... disease is running wild.' Above the voice of science I heard your faith-filled plea. There's proof of My existence in the child I've given thee.
