God's Wonderful Creation

This tiny little bundle

             I hold close against my heart . . .

The manifested beauty

             of God's wondrous work of art.

He knows the very moment

             that each hair was put in place,

And when He formed each feature

             on that tiny little face.

He molded arms and sturdy legs

             and tiny toes were made.

He shaped the hands and on each one

             a fingernail was laid.

And when the time was perfect

             angels watched from up above

As He brought this tiny being forth

             to fill our lives with love.
