There are so many things I would like to thank you for . . .
thank you for loving me without boundaries, without conditions, but fully and honestly loving me . . .
thank you for the listening ear, the gentle hand on my tired shoulder, the encouraging words, and the never-ending belief in my abilities . . .
thank you for always knowing what to say and for knowing when to be silent . . .
thank you for letting my be myself, and for the assurance that even though I might fail at times, I was never a failure.
Because you believed in me so fiercely, I learned to believe in myself.
Because you loved me so unconditionally, I learned to love myself.
Of all the gifts a child could receive, these two by far are the greatest.
Thank you for being the special person that you are . . . thank you for giving life to the word Mother.
